Improve notification of edit conflicts (Community Wishlist/W355)

Description
The reporting of edit conflicts takes place too late in the process when you click on the save edits button.
When you are editing an article and an edit conflict is going to happen then inform the user earlier at the point when they do a display of their changes. This would give you an opportunity to stop editing further and let you decide to continue or abandon your edits. Thus saving time and effort when you know that an edit conflict will happen.
