Description

It's possible to set up something that looks like a form through preloading templates with comments, that a contributor may fill out. This is useful in various discussions forums and areas, such as requesting a new username, suggesting a deletion, nominating good artciles, or similar, to get a consistent and clean topic/thread start. This may also appear very messy and intimidating to new editors. It's also a hassle to set these up.

If there was a way to set up and use proper forms, for example such as those used for the Community Wishlist wish intake form or something that is similar to TemplateData, on the wikis, it may lead to an interface with a better overview instead of preloading a template with loads of parameters and inline comments. If one is a bit creative, they may also be used to showcase how to make new pages/articles to new editors.

I'm mostly writing from a Wikipedia point of view, but it may be useful for other projects, as well.
