Description

Often, it's difficult to know what readers want from an article. What kind of information are they searching for? Do they understand your explanation? Do they notice any mistakes? For most of our readers, it's not obvious that talk pages exist, so it would be good to give them another opportunity to give feedback.

By allowing experienced editors to (temporarily) enable a way to gather feedback, we can do some article-specific reader research where there is capacity to act on the feedback. One implementation could be that this feedback is automatically added to a subpage of the talk page and transcluded. That way, it won't clog up watchlists.

In contrast with the old Article feedback tool, the idea is editors can choose (possibly from a set) which question to ask. That way, the feedback collected will be more targeted.

Hopefully, we can implement it so that we also tempt people to BOLDly implement whatever they see lacking.
