Sortable table columns in the Wikipedia app (Community Wishlist/W516)
Appearance

Description
For many tables in articles, it's very useful to be able to sort by their different columns.
This can be done on desktop and mobile Web, but not the mobile apps.
The mobile apps functionality should be as good as the mobile Web and then better (it already has some functionality advantages).
This sorting functionality is very useful also on mobile.
So please add table sorting to the Wikipedia app.
There could be many examples; one is sorting en:List of countries by renewable electricity production by solar energy.

Support PLEASE add sortability to the Wikipedia iOS app! Mobile sortability was highly popular in the 2022 Wishlist survey (https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Community_Wishlist_Survey_2022/Mobile_and_apps/Table_sorting_on_mobile) and it was implemented on mobile web, but the app still lacks this vital feature. Many, many lists are designed to be sortable but have lost much of their usability without it. Reywas92 (talk) 14:05, 11 March 2026
