page numbers for in-site searches (Community Wishlist/W533)

When searching the site, the only options are 'number of results per page' and whether to go to the next page or skip back to the beginning. A string of page numbers would make it so much easier to navigate results, I may be a spanner but I regularly forget what page number I'm on and how many results I've seen, which is necessary to know how many results are left. Perhaps each number could be a hyperlink?
