Description

Hello,

as discussed on

we recently might have detected one single pattern to identify articles, which might have been generated by artificial intelligence (ChatGPT, OpenAI, Gemini, Beard, Copilot, Perplexity, ...). While one or two years ago it was way easier to detected articles possibly generated by AI it is getting harder and harder, the algorithms and generated articles are - from a formal point of view - getting better and better, while the content might still be hallucinated and the given sources might not prove "facts", that they claim to prove. These articles use non existing infoboxes in the german language wikipedia, which the algorithms might have learned from the english language wikipedia.

For articles with possible copyright violations we have tools like:

For AI there are external tools like:

Therefore I would suggest an automatically updated page similar to

to list possible AI generated (newly created) articles, in order to check them more thorough.

Is there such a tool already available for other languages than German? If yes, can such a page be activated for the German language wikipedia?

Thanks a lot!
