Dark mode doesn’t work on iPad/Safari (Community Wishlist/W51)

Description
I know the dark mode is new and all, but on iPad devices (I don’t know if this applies to all MacOS devices but it might) the dark mode feature will put the page on dark mode for a few seconds and will revert to the default; it could also actually be a Safari problem as I haven’t tested it on other browsers but it would be mint if it could be fixed.
