Desigs de la comunitat
Desigs de la comunitat és un fòrum per a que els col·laboradors dels projectes Wikimedia puguem compartir idees o "Desigs" per millorar els nostres productes i tecnologia, i tot seguit col·laborar entre nosaltres i amb la Fundació Wikimedia per prioritzar i donar sortida a aquestes propostes entre tots.
Per tal de construir programari sostenible i multigeneracional, la Fundació Wikimedia necessita escoltar i col·laborar amb el voluntariat sobre reptes i oportunitats per millorar els nostres productes i tecnologia.
Com funciona:
- Els voluntaris poden demanar un desig (una nova funcionalitat, la correcció d'un error o el canvi d'un sistema) en qualsevol moment. Us animem a que proposeu el desig en la vostra llengua materna.
- Els desigs proposats poden ser revisats, discutits i editats per altres voluntaris, i acceptats per la Fundació.
- The Foundation then reviews all new wishes, identifies common themes across wishes, and turns these themes into focus areas. Focus areas help us move beyond individual solutions, which might only work for certain use cases, and instead identify and solve as many of the biggest, most impactful problems as possible.
- Contributors may support and comment on focus areas, which will then be adopted by Wikimedia Foundation teams, Community Tech, affiliates, or volunteer developers.

January 7, 2026: Update to statuses and to users’ watchlists
Hello everyone! For the first update of 2026, we got some interesting news to share with you.
First of all, we will revisit slightly the statuses for wishes, to better align our work with the needs of the users: more specifically, the “accepted” status will be merged with the “under review” status, and we will open the possibility to vote “under review” wishes; moreover, we will remove the “unsupported” status, that will be merged with the “community opportunity” status. This will mean that “unsupported” wishes can be part of the workstream of the Unsupported Tools Working Group, that has recently started an independent process to resolve some of these issues through shorter development cycles. In the next few days, we will update accordingly the statuses of the involved wishes.
In addition to this, we have some changes to Special:Watchlist that are coming, as part of our current work on the Watchlist labels project:
- we will update the display of Special:EditWatchlist as a first step towards watchlist labels;
- we will update pagination on Special:Search, as a part of the work on the Revamp pagination / page navigation wish.
