Most enwp portals do display poorly on mobile. A few such as Portal:Canada do work, but in general we lack the resources to mend them. Help and suggestions would be welcomed at WT:WikiProject Portals. Certes (talk) 01:22, 23 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
We have designed flexible portals in Wikipedia in French. See Wikipedia:fr:Wikipédia:Portail Témoin. The template use Flexbox CSS and is adapted to large and narrow screens. See also Wikipedia:fr:Modèle:Canevas portail flexible/Documentation. PAC2 (talk) 18:00, 23 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'll note the example given, w:Portal:Anime and manga, looks fine in mobile web, just not in the app. This suggests an issue with the app, specifically, and not the design of the portal. MusikAnimal (WMF) (talk) 19:57, 2 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
