Illustrations should show the current season

Problem: Illustrations / photos in the articles should reflect the current season
Who would benefit: the users of the encyclopedia
Proposed solution: A field for an illustration / photo should be able to be stored with several images so that the appropriate image is automatically shown according to the season: in winter the Vogelsberg in snow or in summer in green

Make it based on localisation. Reason- seasons are different between Northern and Southern hemispheres. Some places at equator have no "seasons" so they can ignore. CaribDigita (talk) 06:46, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose This is an intriguing idea, but the encyclopedic record of a place should reflect how it appears in all seasons, so I'm not sure it's something that'd be desirable. Oppose Basically, the idea could be good if we had good photos for all seasons. We should first of all choose the best and most representative photo. In a lot of places, snow doesn't fall every year and it would be weird to assert a default image that rarely represents the subject. To be honest, this raises even more problems for small gain. However, I still haven't done it (so I'll try to do it today): it would simply be necessary to ask to add the property winter view (P5252) to the infobox. — Baidax ^💬 17:33, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
