- Short description
The monument called "Gloria Alata", designed by Costante Orazio Grossoni, was built in 1927 and inaugurated on 21th June to commemorate the fallen of the First World War. It resisted just 15 years, because in 1942 it was melted for war purposes. It remained only the basement until 1966, wen the sculptor Giuseppe Rebesco realized a fountain for the commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the City of Busto Arsizio.
