Would you like to support the Connected Open Heritage project by contacting a GLAM institution to convince them to release media about cultural heritage? Awesome!

What we are looking for[edit]

First, please try to remember if you know about any GLAM in your country (and/or where you have good contacts) that fit this description:

  • The GLAM has collections of media depicting immovable cultural heritage, especially that is at risk.
    • This can include both photos, videos, paintings or drawings, or possibly digitized books focused on specific sites (such as travel diaries etc.).

If you do not know any suitable GLAM, do you know how to identify any? That would be very helpful.

Things to point out when in contact with the GLAM[edit]

When reaching out to the GLAM we suggest that you bring up the following:
