Sadik Shahadu[edit]

Sadik is the Executive Director, researcher, and Co-Founder of the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group. He is currently serving as the West African Indigenous Language Coordinator at Art+Feminism, a steering committee member of the Wikimedia Language Diversity Hub, and has previously served as a volunteer on the Wikimedia project grants committee. Outside the Wikimedia community, he is a Mozilla Open Leader X fellow, a MozFest wrangler, and an ambassador for the Mozilla festival 2022.

Yussif Abdul-Rasheed[edit]

Abdul-Rasheed is an educator by profession with a background in Educational Psychology, a team member, and the project manager of the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group. He is a member of The Europeana Network Association(ENA) and an event organizer at Art+Feminism. He is an Advisory Board member of Read To Change Initiative Ghana, and a certified Reading Wikipedia in the Classroom trainer. He believes in making knowledge freely accessible and contributing to free knowledge; hence, he is a Wikimedian. Abdul-Rasheed has contributed to Wikimedia projects as user:Din-nani1 since 2015.

Khadija Iddrisu[edit]

Khadija Iddrisu User:Dhee Jah is a team member of the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group as well as the IT Manager for the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group. She is responsible for the development and maintenance of the User group's Website as well as the promotion of its projects by designing flyers. Khadija has also participated in organizing some projects for the Dagbani Wikimedians user group, including the My Northern Achievers Contest, WikiLoves Earth 2021, and WikiLovesHumanRight. Outside of the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group, She is currently working as a Data Scientist and a Regional Ambassador for the Mastercard Foundation Alumni Committee.

Alhassan Mohammed Awal[edit]

Awal was formerly the Communications Manager for the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group and is currently the Co-Lead for the Dagaare Wikimedia Community to provide general training and technical support on the language Wiki. He is a language activist, communication and social media enthusiast, content creator, and translator. He plays several voluntary roles in organizing Wikimedia projects and co-leading working groups, giving presentations during calls and conferences.

Fuseini Musah[edit]

Musah Fuseini (User: Musahfm) is a teacher by profession and teaches Dagbani. He is an indigenous language activist and loves writing, especially in Dagbani. He is a prolific editor on the Dagbani Wikipedia and Wikidata. As an Open Educational Resource (OER) enthusiast, he was part of the Open Education for a Better World (OE4BW) online mentoring program as a developer, and has authored two OERs on how to read and write in Dagbani. He is currently a team member of the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group; he is a co-facilitator in the Dagbani Wikimedians' tele-education program on TV dubbed Dagbani Wikipedia Saha. He is also a Project Lead for the Kusaal Wikimedia Community. He is a member of the Wikipedia Research Newsletter (WRN) publication team. He is passionate about promoting the Dagbani language, with a strong commitment to making it very visible on the internet and thus, saving it from going extinct.

Fuseini Mohammed Kamal-Deen[edit]

Fuseini Mohammed Kamal-Deen is a Wikimedian in Residence and trainer who is passionate about using technology to promote education and cultural heritage. He is a co-lead of the Gurene Wikimedia Community and a member of the Cyber Security Professional Association in Ghana. He contributes to Wikimedia projects under the username User: Dnshitobu and is a co-facilitator in the Dagbani Wikipedia Saha tele-education program on TV. He is a professional teacher with a background in Information technology and a volunteer for many other community organizations.

Fuseini Abdul-Rafiu[edit]

Abdul-Rafiu Fuseini (User: Alhaj Darajaati) is a professional sales manager, inspirational writer, digital language activist and advanced graphic designer. He placed first in the Wiki Loves Folklore and Feminism 2021 article writing contests internationally for his language, and in 2022, he became first again in the 2022 Wiki Loves Folklore and Feminism contest. Currently a Co-lead for Moore Wikimedia Community, he is also a facilitator for the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group as well as Dagbani Wikipedia Saha, a Tele-educational program on Sagani TV. He has mentored many of the Dagbani community members, which has won them several awards. He is a volunteer (Hubs Advisor) for the Movement Charter Drafting Committee (MCDC) and a member of Let's Connect, a peer learning working group for the Wikimedia Movement. A member of Wikimedia Research Newsletter (WRN). He's also currently part of the first cohort of the Kiwix4Schools Africa Mentorship Program.

Fuseini Mugisu Suhuyini[edit]

Fuseini Mugisu Suhuyini (User: Sir Amugi) manages communications, outreach, campaigns, and social media for the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group. He also serves as a jury member for the Parliament of Ghana writing contest organized by the same group. As an active Wikipedia Research Newsletter team member, he utilises various Wikimedia tools like Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, Wikivoyage, and Wiktionary to support language activism.

Alhassan Abdul-Wadudu[edit]

Alhassan Abdul-Wadudu, also known as User: Achiri Bitamsimli is a facilitator and hubs coordinator for the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group. He plays a crucial role as a co-facilitator in the Dagbani Wikimedians' tele-education program on TV called "Dagbani Wikipedia Saha". Additionally, he serves as one of the jury members for the Parliament of Ghana writing contest organized by the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group. He is a dedicated digital language activist, motivated by his passion for language preservation and promotion. He actively utilizes various Wikimedia projects such as Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, Wikivoyage, Wiktionary, and other digital language support tools to facilitate his language activism work on the internet. Beyond his involvement in the Wikimedia community, He is a final-year student teacher at Tamale College of Education (TACE), which is affiliated with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He demonstrates great enthusiasm for exploring the history and culture of Dagbon, showcasing his deep interest in learning and preserving his heritage.

Hamidu Rukaya[edit]

Hamidu Rukaya (User: Ruky Wunpini) is the logistics manager for the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group and a co-facilitator in the Dagbani Wikimedians' tele-education program on TV called "Dagbani Wikipedia Saha".She serves as one of the jury members for the Parliament of Ghana writing contest organized by the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group. She actively utilises various Wikimedia projects, such as Wikipedia, Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons, and Wikivoyage. Rukaya is a teacher by profession with a background in management, and she volunteers for other organizations in Tamale.

Ruth Abugpoka Ayorigya[edit]

Ruth Abugpoka Ayorigya (User: Awinebotima) is the administrative assistant for the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group. She is also the Communications Lead for the Gurene Wikimedia Community, a sister community. Aside from Wikipedia, Ruth is a climate advocate, a Baobab Ambassador and a learner guide at CAMFED Ghana. She is passionate about Gender Equity, climate change, and women's development.
