Until the 1980s, Switzerland practiced coercive welfare measures that led to hundreds of thousands of children and teenagers being forcibly removed from their families and placed in institutions or foster homes, where many endured violence and abuse. The National Museum Zurich’s second edition of "Experiences of Switzerland" addresses this topic through a large-scale immersive video installation, centering on testimonies from ten survivors.
