Training for cultural institutions by Diego Hättenschwiler (User:Hadi). How to make content from GLAMs available for Wikipedia and the Wikimedia projects and how to edit Wikipedia.

- Around 15 Museum employees took part, some had to leave early
- most of them work at the Swiss National Museum, some at the Rietberg Museum, the Department of Humanities, Social and Political Sciences at the ETH, the University of Zurich or the Kunstmuseum Zürich.
The workshop covered these topics:
- Share your knowledge: an introduction to Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons and Wikidata;
- What open licences are and why curators should use them;
- How to prepare your content for wikipedians;
- How to correct a mistake or suggest a correction;
- Simple contributions to Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons;
- Wikiuniversum etiquette.
The participants actively took part and asked a number of questions. Not everyone was able to create user accounts without technical problems. Some participants helped each other with hotspots. The room had a large screen, but the participants had to use their notebooks on their knees because there were no tables. It was not recorded which edits were made during the workshop.
