Wikidata turned ten on 29 October 2022. The global Deobandi scholarship is one of the most underrepresented themes on Wikipedia and its sister projects. On the 10th birthday of Wikidata, the Deoband Community Wikimedia tries to involve its members and volunteers in bridging this gap by creating and updating notable entries related to the scholarship. The event was scheduled to begin on 29 October 2022 however due to certain unavoidable circumstances, it was postponed to happen on Sunday, 30 October 2022. The event lasted for two days and thus achieving a better result. This event was supported with a grant amount of 16,311.90 INR under DCW Bhopal Photo Event. Timeline

The event began with an online session in which Browniewikipedian, 511KeV and Numis Zuhair participated. TheAafi introduced Wikidata and gave a brief idea on how the event would be happening. Following the session, TheAafi, Muntaqibah and Ujaala met offline. That began with cutting of the celebration cake.

Several hours long offline session took place in which several entries were made and updated on Wikidata. This was followed by a lunch at a local restaurant. Entries were subsequently made on Wikidata in Arabic, English, Kashmiri and Urdu. The group had a dinner together.

On 31st, offline contacts were made in order to get a broader participation. Another online session was initiated in which Bilal Nibraas, Numis Zuhair, Shaad Faheem and ShadabAkhtar0786 participated. Everyone tried to learn new things. Subsequently ShadabAkhtar0786 and TheAafi met offline and a lengthy training session was put forth which ended with the group having dinner. Ujaala joined moments later.
