Diaspora Edits Wikipedia 2024/hu
The Diaspora Edits Wikipedia initiative is an exciting online editing campaign organized by the Wikimedians of Albanian Language User Group. From February 20th to March 20th, 2024, we're diving into a journey to bring together the contribution of the Albanian diaspora on Wikipedia.

To empower our community with the skills to edit Wikipedia and highlight the richness of the Albanian heritage, we invite you to join our initiative. Diaspora Edits Wikipedia will:
- Promote the Albanian subjects on local Wikipedias where our diaspora resides;
- Increase the quantity and quality of articles on Albanian topics on Wikipedias in foreign languages;
- Establish a community of Albanian diaspora members who edit Wikipedia.
Hogyan vehetsz részt?
Diaspora Edits Wikipedia includes volunteers of all ages, both experienced editors and young newcomers. Therefore, lack of experience is not a problem for participation. To assist you in your edits and answer your questions, WoALUG will organize several Office Hours online in March, taking place every Wednesday from 10:00-16:00. During the Office Hours, we will discuss how to edit on Wikipedia and ask and answer questions about the campaign.

Szabályok
- Editing experience on Wikipedia is not necessary;
- All participants must have an account on Wikipedia. To create an account, go here;
- To contribute to the campaign, you need to edit articles on Albanian topics from the available list – on Wikipedia in the language you speak;
- Your contribution can be translating articles or improving existing ones in the target language;
- At the end of the campaign, participants will receive certificates for their contributions.
