1. Initial Online Zoom Onboarding 

Event Objective: Introduce participants of Gambaga College of Education to Wikimedia and sister projects

Activities: Provide an overview of the project, explain the significance of contributing to Wikipedia, and outline the planned activities. Participants will learn the basics of Wikipedia editing, rules for the edit-a-thon, and how to get started.

Outcome: Ensure all participants have a clear understanding of the project and feel prepared to engage in the workshops.


2. In-Person workshops

Objective: Provide practical, hands-on training in creating, editing, and improving articles on the Wikimedia incubator.

Topics to be Covered: Creating Wikipedia account, userpage, articles, editing articles and referencing.

Logistics Needed: Computer/mobile devices, Internet access, printed guides, workshop materials, and refreshments.

Outcome: Equip participants with the skills needed to contribute effectively and produce quality articles.


3. Final Zoom Meeting Objective: Announce winners of the edit-a-thon, provide feedback on contributions, and discuss the impact of the project. 

Activities: Celebrate top contributors, present awards, and share success stories. Discuss ongoing support and plans for future activities.

Outcome: Strengthen community bonds and encourage participants to remain active contributors.


4. Community Engagement and Follow-Up Social Media Integration: Add all participants to the Anufo Language Wikimedians WhatsApp, Telegram, and other social platforms. 

Continuous Mentorship: Offer ongoing support through these platforms, addressing questions and guiding participants as they continue editing.

Feedback Collection: Distribute feedback forms to gather insights on the events and improve future training sessions.basics. Wikipedia’s core principles: neutrality, reliable sourcing, and verifiability. Step-by-step guidance on editing and translating articles into Anufo language. Tips on using references and avoiding common editing errors.
