The Role

We are looking for a part-time Graphic Designer for a three-month contract (April – June 2026). This role is essential to supporting the visual development of various ESEAP Hub communication materials, specifically establishing our visual brand identity, illustrating a new handbook, and designing our final impact report.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design the overall visual identity guideline of ESEAP Hub, including but not limited to:
    • Integrate the current ESEAP Hub logo into the visual identity guideline; and
    • Create or suggest the following elements of visual identity: colour palette, free licensed font, icon, pattern, and illustration.
  2. Design the communication materials template, including, but not limited to, presentations and social media posts.
  3. Design and layout the ESEAP Handbook.
  4. Create their work under the free license of CC-BY-SA 4.0 or its latest version, and/or any other licenses in accordance with Wikimedia Commons policy.

Requirements

  1. Expertise in any common design software, for example: Adobe, InDesign, and Canva.
  2. Experience with multilingual typesetting, including Chinese characters.
  3. Experience in open license and open source projects, including Wikimedia Commons.
  4. Experience in designing the communication material related to the local culture of any ESEAP countries.

Important Dates

Submission Deadline: 15 April 2026. The application is on a first come first serve basis.

Work commitment: April to June 2026

Note that the time may change if necessary.

  1. A brief CV or a link to your Wikimedia user page.
  2. A link to your design portfolio.
  3. A brief description of your experience with multilingual layouts.

Compensation: Fixed-fee contract (based on experience & regional standards)

Location: Remote (must be based in or have significant experience with the ESEAP region)
