π€ Community Spotlight
[edit]WikiCon Seoul 2025 was taken place on Oct 25, 2025 with theme of βBeyond technology and language, a house of knowledge built by everyoneβ. This is the first conference whereby Fellow ESEAP Wikimedians are in attendance. The contemporary topics discussed include:
- Collaboration between Wikimedia Japan & Korea
- Introducing ESEAP Hub to Korean Wikimedians
- Introducing Neurodiverse activities to the public
- Similarly to previous conferences, topic about AI and its impact include : Wikimedia Foundationβs AI strategy & WikiValutβs impact to the editors (There are user interested to research about trends of Korean Wikimedians.)
- Improving and localization on Koreaβs unique content (There was teacher interesting about this, making connection with WMKR)
