I am a co-founder of the Pilipinas Panorama Community (PPC) which is an active Wikimedia organization based in Metro Manila, Philippines with thematic focus on Cultural Heritage, GLAM, and Freedom of Panorama. As a community leader, I co-organize meet-ups in Metro Manila and also gave cultural heritage tours to the participants. We also invite active Wikipedia editors, Wikimedia Commons photographers, and interested individuals to our organizational activities which includes Wikipedia Editing Workshops and Photowalks for Wikimedia Commons.
I am also the Project Manager for the Philippine Panorama Project which is an initiative of PPC to contribute and highlight cultural heritage of the Philippines in various Wikimedia sites. As one of the administrator/sysop in Bikol Wikipedia, I also initiated WikiProjects for the improvement of the website as a part of my local language advocacy. Outside of Wikimedia, I am a licensed Chemical Engineer working as a Research & Development (R&D) Scientist to one of the largest food & beverage companies in the Philippines. Within my profession, I have experience handling R&D projects involving various leading beverage products in our country for seven (7) years.
