プログラム

ESEAP戦略サミットは、ESEAP地域のウィキメディアンによる、3日間のワークショップです。そこでは運動戦略とESEAP Hubに関連する議論が行われます。

ESEAP戦略サミットでは、ESEAPカンファレンスと異なり、プログラムは提示されません。その代わり、一般的な議題、つまりESEAP地域、ESEAP Hub、運動戦略、変化の理論などが話し合われます。実際の議題は、サミットのプログラムチームによって協議され、ESEAP準備委員会によって決定され、完了次第ここで公開されます。ファシリテーターは、参加者全員が可能な限り参加できるように支援します。

目的

  • コミュニティメンバーが運動戦略ワーキンググループのメンバーの一部と会話する場となり、ワーキンググループの会話全般、特に対象の文書で浮上した問題や懸念事項について参加者を指導できるようになります。これには、説明の提供、将来のシナリオのサンプルの提供、指定されたワーキンググループでの作業経験の共有などが含まれますが、これらに限定されません。

Pre-Summit meetings

There will be two online meetings held before the Strategy Summit in Manila. These meetings will help shape the discussions to be held at the Summit, while also enabling participation from the greater community. Attendees are highly encouraged to join the online meetings, as these will be used as a venue to provide explanations and gather opinions.

  • The first meeting will be held on April 27, and will be used to discuss the governance systems proposed by the ESEAP Preparatory Council. You can find more details and register for the meeting on its event page.
  • The exact date for the second meeting is still to be decided, but it will be held around two weeks before the Summit.

Timetable

The Manila Bay Kitchen is located at the ground floor. Ballrooms 3 and 4 are located at the 7th floor of the Sheraton Manila Bay Hotel, to the right of the elevators. Signs at the elevator room will direct you to the ballrooms where the Summit will be held.

Sunday excursion

The core organizing team will be providing a National Museum tour on Sunday, after the closing ceremony and lunch. Attendees are expected to prepare to leave the hotel by 13:00.

Attendees will tour the National Museum of Anthropology and the National Museum of Natural History. At 18:00, attendees will be picked up from the museum grounds and brought to Intramuros, the walled district of Manila and the original Spanish settlement in the area established in the 16th century. At 19:00, dinner will be held at the Sky Deck View Bar of The Bayleaf, a restaurant within Intramuros. After the dinner, attendees will be brought back to the hotel.

Museum guidelines

Large objects, backpacks, and water bottles are restricted by the National Museum. These must be deposited at the National Museum entrances before entering the museum. When depositing an item, you will be given a card with a number; please keep this card safe as it will be required to claim your items when exiting the museum.
