Things learned at the strategy summit
[edit]- There are many similar, but different situation: Advocacy and global trends - That's vary depending on the situation that's underway within specific country.
- How the governance structure of the ESEAP Hub will be, what's important needs on the ESEAP region such as translation and interpretation support.
- Global trends: 5 global trends affecting wikimedia movement, and how we can create positive impact from these trends.
Participation
[edit]- Connecting Korean community to the global -
- Introduced initiatives during panel session included Korea-Japan friendship project.
- Working on the Opportunity to connect the underrepresented Korean community members, inviting several users to the WikiCon Seoul - annual local conference.
- Introduced AI - based translated tool WIkiValut to the several people.
- Various activities prepared summit organizers - global trends, Advocacy, What kind of works needs to prioritize during summit,
- Karaokes :P made me tired.
Plans after the strategy summit
[edit]- Expanding global partnership with fellow ESEAP countries. specifically in this year we will plan the Korea-Malaysia friendship project and expanded activities with the Japanese community.
- Share global trends with Fellow WMKR members.
- Despite failed submission of the East Asia Conference, there are still a wishes to held an summit or conference in the South Korea, I am feeling positive about it and led the internal conferences, however there are giant internal concerns in the internally in WMKR.
