Abstract:
Enhancing Peer Learning in Wikimedia Educational Programs: The Let's Connect Model"" is designed to empower EduWikimedians with actionable strategies for integrating peer learning into their educational initiatives. We will share the Let's Connect approach, which combines interactive learning spaces—such as learning clinics and connectathons—with essential support elements like a skill directory and resource center. This session will outline the objectives, methodologies, and initial results of implementing these strategies, highlighting their potential to transform peer-to-peer interactions and strengthen community bonds within Wikimedia programs.

The session’s objective is to cultivate sustainable and collaborative learning environments that drive active engagement and skill-sharing among participants. Through practical exercises, real-world case studies, and facilitated discussions, attendees will learn how to design and implement sessions that not only enhance learning outcomes but also build long-lasting networks. The demonstrated success of pilot initiatives indicates that the Let's Connect Model can serve as a replicable framework for improving educational outcomes and fostering a more inclusive, impactful, and sustainable Wikimedia ecosystem.
