Summary: Wikimedia Human Rights Month 2024 successfully engaged young editors in school programs. Teachers and Wikimedians organized editathons and workshops in Brno and Prague to discuss and edit human rights content on Wikipedia.
Wikimedia Human Rights Month in 2024 succeeded in attracting young editors within school programmes in a larg scale. Teacher and wikimedian Martin Hájek organised traditional human rights editathon for his students at High School of Informatics, Postal and Financial Services in Brno. Combined lecture and workshop took place also in Prague, in Elementary school Londýnská. Human rights issues were edited and discussed also as part of media education activities at Gymnasium Kralupy.
