Summary: A new WikiClub has been created at the Dibra Youth Center part of the Municipality of Dibra in Albania. This club gathers young students to learn and how they can contribute to Wikimedia projects.
By learning how to use Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons and Wikidata they will be able to serve their local community by sharing reliable and verifiable information about Dibra’s region, culture, art, renowned people, history ect. Their contributions will help increase the visibility of local knowledge and to be bart of the free sharing of knowledge.
For the Wikimedians of Albanian Language User Group, the Dibra WikiClub is an important step to empower the young students to participate in the creation of free knowledge and connect their local heritage with the global Wikimedia Movement.
