Various programmes up and rolling with Charles University Prague
Summary:
Charles University in Prague is the oldest university in the Czech Republic. Also it offers the highest number of programmes and fields, as well as number of students. Regarding this, WMCR had finally signed the letter of cooperation in 2023, which includes many levels of cooperation. In 2025 we have continued with courses for librarians from nstitute of Information Studies and Librarianship (UISK) called We Write Wikipedia, which started in 2024. Also we have launched new courses at the Department of Linguistics at Faculty of Arts, Charles University. Last but not least we managed to open internships and praxis for students, who aim to focus on Wikipedia content during their study. All the articles published within this cooperation are published under hashtag #uk100. University project expects to finish 100 articles related to Charles University within three years, eg. 2027.
