Summary: WikiForAll is a series of training programs designed to train students on Wikimedia’s Technical platforms. By doing this training for the students we believe that the students will learn about how to apply their technical skills for developing Wikimedia projects. Moreover, this will also help the students to develop the core technical skills and programming languages that can help them to pursue careers in tech and also add more value to their portfolio. This way the students are also introduced to Open Knowledge projects, culture and ecosystem.

We have collaborated with Dr. GR Damodaran College of Science which is located in Coimbatore India which has been our hosting partner for the past two cohorts.
We have included a diverse range of students and staff members from the above institution and from different backgrounds to whom we give hands-on training on the Wikimedia projects.
'The students and teachers learn about the fundamentals of Web and also technical topics such as WikiTech, WikiCommons and Wikidata. This is very beneficial especially for the first generation graduates and women who get an opportunity to get introduced to Open Knowledge forums by contributing to Wikimedia projects. In the 2nd cohort of WikiForAll we have made a call for projects for a 6- month internship where students who were trained from the previous cohort get to develop apps and solutions to make Wikimedia projects accessible. The staff members who received the similar training would turn into mentors to monitor the progress and help in bridging the academic gaps.
For now this program is actively focusing on the South Indian regions where we can find expert Wikimedians who can be the trainers for the technical projects and also involve other Wikimedians as mentors who can support us remotely. Also we are finding ways to expand this program to different institutions in India who are interested in Open Source and Open Knowledge initiatives and contributing to the local regional projects.
