Summary: With the goal of raising awareness about free knowledge and Wikipedia at an educational level, the Wikimedians of Albanian Language User Group has started an initiative to connect with university students and professors.
This time, we were at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Tirana, Albania.
Such activities will serve to introduce students to Wikipedia, help them understand how it works, and invite them to become part of its community. These sessions will improve students’ research and digital skills and open the way for collaboration between Wikimedians of Albanian User Group and academic staff interested in using Wikipedia in the classroom.
This initiative is part of our broader effort to build a stronger connection between Wikipedia and the academic environment, encouraging critical thinking, collaboration, and participation in open knowledge.
