One School, One Article Campaign Wrap Up

For the past 6 weeks Wikimedians of Albanian Language User Group organized the online campaign "One School, One Article". Targeting middle and high schools throughout Albanian speaking communities, with a particular focus in Albania and Kosovo, 44 groups of students and their teacher mentors created Wikipedia articles on their schools with WoALUG providing remote training and technical and editorial assistance.

This campaign provides a basis towards educating and engaging school communities in the relevance and potential of Wikipedia as an educational tool, whilst also raising awareness of accessible knowledge and editing tools. We are excited to continue our collaboration with some of the schools by creating new WikiClubs.

One of the many achievements worth mentioning is the engagement of new editors into our community, many of whom have expressed the desire to continue contributing to Wikipedia.
