En savoir plus…  Du 14 au 16 octobre 2025, à l’Institut des Lettres de l’UERJ, à Rio de Janeiro, la rencontre du Réseau latino-américain d’intelligence artificielle féministe : Confluences technoféministes pour des avenirs possibles, a réuni des chercheurs, des professeurs et des personnalités de différents pays d’Amérique latine et des Caraïbes afin d’explorer les liens entre technologie, intersectionnalité et société. Cette initiative vise à enrichir les contenus en serbe sur l’un des systèmes éducatifs les plus réputés au monde et son contexte culturel. En savoir plus…  The WikiPatrimoine Senghor campaign, initiated by the Club WikiSenghor de l’Université Senghor d’Alexandrie, was launched on December 10, 2025 and January 25, 2026. It aims to reinforce the documentation and visibility of heritage cultures of Africans and African descendants on Wikipedia, in particulier in langue française. Organisée dans le contexte du 25ᵉ anniversaire de Wikipedia et de la Journée mondiale de la culture africaine et afrodescendante, la campagne à combiné formation et creation et amélioration d'articles. In total, 24 articles portant sur des patrimoines matériels et immatériels ont été créés ou enrichis. The initiative concludes with a public exposition of restitution, including QR codes renvoyant to articles produced.  Le 14 février 2026, des contributeurs ouzbeks de Wikipédia ont organisé un événement éducatif à l'Université d'État d'économie de Tachkent pour célébrer le 25ème anniversaire de Wikipédia. Cet événement a été organisé en collaboration avec le groupe d'utilisateurs Wikimédiens des langues turques, la Communauté des jeunes d'Asie centrale, de jeunes contributeurs ouzbeks de Wikipédia et le Wiki Club de l'Université d'État d'économie de Tachkent. Plus de 50 participants, principalement des étudiants et des jeunes, y ont assisté. En savoir plus…  Le troisième et dernier mois du programme de bourses d'été Wikipédia du Musée d'Auckland s'est achevé. Au cours des dix dernières semaines, six étudiants ont contribué à l'univers de Wikimedia dans le cadre du projet Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland Local Histories. Ils ont échangé avec le personnel du Musée d'Auckland et des contributeurs Wikimedia invités, venus d'Aotearoa et du monde entier, et ont découvert comment d'autres participent au mouvement. Led locally by MaryGrace Valencia of the Alliance for Open Education Collaboration Inc., the initiative featured reading sessions in Central Bikol using children’s books translated during the 2025 Hablon-Usipon Workshop. Supported by educators from Minalabac, the activity highlighted the importance of mother tongue-based literacy and culturally relevant learning materials. Through partnerships with the PhilWiki Community and other organizations, the group continues to promote open knowledge and inclusive education, empowering young learners to read and thrive in their own language. A series of training workshops were organized in cooperation with several primary and secondary schools, engaging dozens of students in learning how to edit and create content on Wikipedia in the Macedonian language. Through these workshops, students were introduced to the principles of free knowledge, neutral point of view, reliable sourcing, and encyclopedic writing, while gaining hands-on experience in publishing articles online. En savoir plus…  On February 14, 2026, the Uzbek Wikimedian community celebrated Wikipedia’s 25th anniversary with a special offline event at Tashkent State University of Economics. Organized in collaboration with the TSUE Wiki Club, the event brought together over 50 participants, including university students, young researchers, and active Wikimedians. The program included a 1.5-hour interactive workshop, where attendees learned about Wikipedia, its editing culture, and ongoing local and CEE Youth Group projects, while gaining practical skills to contribute effectively. The event also offered participants an opportunity to connect, share experiences, and engage with the broader Wikimedia community. By involving students and young researchers in hands-on activities, the initiative promoted open knowledge and collaborative learning, fostering a culture of open education in the region and inspiring the next generation of contributors.
