Both teachers and secondary school students were actively involved during the official opening and will continue to participate in mentoring and learning activities. Students gain research, writing, referencing, digital literacy, and critical thinking skills, while teachers learn how to integrate Wikimedia projects into classroom and extracurricular learning.  Dzongkha Wikipedia Education Program and Edit-a-thon is organized in different parts of Bhutan including Thimpu, Paro, Phuentsholing and Gelephu during 1st August – 31st December, 2025 in collaboration with academic institutions in Bhutan. Numbers of students, government officials, language experts and media professionals attended the sessions. 詳細情報…  The Wikipedia 25 birthday celebration was an occasion to recognize 25 years of collaborative knowledge sharing by contributors, build connections among community members, and showcase the project’s potential to the general public. In previous years, the Wikipedia's birthday celebration had been organized only virtually. But this year, we converged students from the Igbo Wiki Fanclub Alvan and Imo State University, to celebrate physically on January 10, 2026.
