 Since early March, Wikimedians of Albanian Language User Group have closely worked and have met weekly to explore Wikipedia articles with the students from the Journalism Department at Aleksandër Xhuvani University in Elbasan. Read more…  Over the last month, Wikimedia Chile launched the first Vikidia workshop in Latin America, introducing students to the world of collaborative knowledge building. In partnership with the Liceo Politécnico de Ciencia y Tecnología in La Cisterna, Santiago. As a result, half of Vikidia’s current Spanish-language editors are now students from this pioneering program. The initiative highlights a growing commitment to open education and marks a significant step toward integrating collaborative platforms into Chile’s classrooms. Through these events, they have the opportunity to learn how to write and edit original articles, to get acquainted with the principles of Wikipedia, and to find out information from different fields.  Wikimedians of Albanian Language User Group organized a focused editathon at the ICT classroom of Jeronim de Rada 9-year elementary school in Elbasan. Read more…  In May, Wkimedistas de Bolivia took the Leamos Wikipedia program to the teacher trainees of the Escuela Superior de Formación de Maestros Simón Bolívar, in La Paz, who have shown greater confidence in the contents offered by Wikipedia.
