These included the signing of a Memorandum of Collaboration with the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at Ss.  Africa Wiki Challenge 2025 in Nigeria spanned a month with four communities from Nigeria joined to translate articles into Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba, Tyap under the theme "Reclaiming Our Narrative: Justice for Africans and the Diasporas through Reparations. Read more…  The Education team at Wikimedia Indonesia collaborated with the State University of Jakarta (UNJ) to hold a Wikipedia writing training (WikiLatih) on August 25, 2025, attended by lecturers and staff. The event aimed to improve the representation of Indonesian academics on Indonesian Wikipedia and teach basic editing skills, including article standards and source reliability. Participants also learned to connect their work to Wikidata. The training produced 22 new academic biographies and promoted open education by encouraging universities to contribute to the open knowledge ecosystem. Read more… The Digital Arabic Content Association (JDACA) partnered with Amman Arab University’s Faculty of Pharmacy to conduct a hands-on Wikipedia editing workshop in November 2025, in celebration of Asian Wikipedia Month. The workshop introduces students to Wikipedia as an educational tool, enhances existing content, and creates new articles on Asian-related topics, promoting digital literacy and collaborative learning.
