Per saperne di più…  The Ukrainian Educators’ Wikimedia Conference 2025 brought together 42 participants and 13 speakers for six hours of exchange. The event highlighted collaboration with schools and universities, involving teachers and students in using Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects in education. Participants learned practical classroom applications, ways to foster academic integrity, and subject-specific practices, while the conference also advocated for open education and inclusion of educators from rural areas and displaced communities. Per saperne di più… In September 2025, I had the opportunity to lead a workshop for 10-year-old students at a primary school in Córdoba, Argentina, focusing on Creative Commons licenses and free culture. Using a hands-on approach with books and a colored "traffic light" system, I taught the children to visually identify different licenses and understand their importance. The workshop successfully introduced them to Wikimedia projects and encouraged them to learn about free culture. My goal was to connect the digital world with education, and the positive results showed the students' enthusiasm for learning about these concepts. Per saperne di più…

 54 students from the College of Education completed an 8-hour training which covered the following topics: Basic Overview of Wikipedia’s Core Policies and Guidelines; Navigating and Editing Wikipedia; Evaluating Articles and Sources; and Translating Articles.
