The Egypt Wikimedians User Group (EWUG), through its initiative of Wikipedian Light of Knowledge and Wikipedian Editor Project in cooperation with the Embassy of Sweden in Cairo and HerStory and UN Women, held "WikiGap Egypt Editathon". The editathon aims to increase women's content on the encyclopedia by attracting new users, raising awareness of women's participation, and bridging the gender gap. The editathon begins on Monday, March 8, 2021, and ends on Sunday, March 14, 2021.
