24 April 2025

In support of enhancing Arabic digital medical content, the Egypt Wikimedians User Group, through its initiative, the Wikipedian Editor Project, held a closing session in the city of Alexandria on April 24, 2025, celebrating the conclusion of the "Wiki Med" workshop organized by Ahmed Naji and Donia El-Domiaty, which ran throughout March and April.

The session honored 21 new users from the faculties of Human Medicine, Physical Therapy, Pharmacy, and Dentistry, who contributed to enriching medical content. Five received "autochecked users" status, while one female user was granted "Editor" privileges.

This was followed by a workshop on documenting books in Wikidata, led by Walaa Abdel Moneim, in celebration of World Book Day. The day's program concluded with participants visiting the Alexandria National Museum as part of the "GLAM" activity, where numerous photos were taken and uploaded to Commons.

A total of 28 attendees participated in the session, including two encyclopedia administrators—Ahmed Naji and Walaa Abdel Moneim—along with editors Donia El-Domiaty and Amr Fathy, and photographer Samar Kamal El-Din
