On Saturday, May 10th, Following the closing ceremony of the Wiki Loves Folklore exhibition, Members of the Egypt Wikimedians User Group explored the corridors and exhibition halls of the Museum of Islamic Art, taking multiple photos of the rare antiquities preserved within.
These freely licensed photos will enrich Wikimedia Commons, making Egypt’s Islamic heritage accessible to global audiences for education, research, and cultural preservation.
