Egypt Wikimedians User Group/Meetups/Ramadan Iftar 2025

In a Ramadan atmosphere infused with collaboration and shared learning, Egypt Wikimedians User Group held a communal iftar on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Cairo University Rowing Club in Dokki, overlooking the Nile River. The event was part of the group’s participation in the global Wiki Loves Ramadan 2025, which aims to enrich Arabic content about Islamic culture and heritage during the holy month.
The Rowing club welcomed attendees starting at 3:00 PM, where participants gathered to enjoy the Nile’s scenic views and engage in warm conversations. The iftar featured a variety of traditional Ramadan dishes, from dates and salads to main courses and desserts. After Maghrib prayers, members held a meeting to discuss key group priorities, including content strategies and upcoming projects. The event concluded at 10:00 PM, leaving attendees inspired to continue contributing to free knowledge.
