Egypt Wikimedians User Group/Projects & Activities/Edit-a-thons & challenges

Egypt Wikimedians usually organize monthly, quarterly & semiannual Edit-a-thons, sessions, initiatives, etc to enrich content about Egypt & increase the Arabic, female, archaeological, historical, literary content on Wikimedia projects and they aim to decrease the gender gap. Also, they recruit volunteers, learning them editing techniques & increase their skills to be part of the progress & adoption of culture heritage. They build capacities, make partnerships- for example with Wikipedian Light of Knowledge & Wikipedian Editor Project- raise awareness & highlight many initiatives to save their heritage.
