Organizers Training Program

This is an administrative and organizational training program, run by the group, designed to recruit and train volunteer organizers to handle organizational tasks such as: organizing Wikimedia's in-person and online sessions and events, and performing administrative duties within the group such as member registration, procurement, logistical support, event planning, report writing, and more.

The program aims to help the group expand its activities locally by increasing the number of organizers and volunteers involved in organizational work. It also aims to develop existing organizers by equipping them with additional skills to enhance their effectiveness within the group.

Program Objectives

• Attracting more organizers to help manage the group's activities and events.
• Providing opportunities for those with managerial skills, such as communication, language, and technical skills in using software and tools, etc.
• Preparing trainees to become future managers and reach senior management positions.
• Also preparing trainees to volunteer for and run for positions on Wikimedia Foundation committees. Which the MENA region is underrepresented.
