On Monday, June 22, 2026, Egypt Wikimedians User Group (EWUG) organized a phototrip to Salah al-Din Square as part of the Islamic Cairo Documentation Project. Salah al-Din Square is the main city square of Islamic Cairo. It is considered among the most important areas in Egypt, having witnessed many significant political and social events.
