EuroWikimania

This is intended to be a smaller localized version of annual Wikimanias. While everybody is welcome to attend the conference, people geographically located in Europe will be given priority to attend the conference.

The intended city at this point is Istanbul, Turkey.
The intended size of attendance at this point is 300 people.
The intended date of the conference is late January or Early February. Dates probably will be between 18 and 22 February 2009 (3 day conference between 19 and 21 January 2009).
Theme of the conference: Web 2.0
The thought process behind this is at the moment in its elementary stages.
