We are excited to welcome you to the official launch of Africa Wiki Challenge (AWC) 2025, happening on Friday, 23rd May 2025 under the theme: “Reclaiming Our Narrative: Justice for Africans and the Diaspora through Reparations.”
This year, we are bringing a twist to the launch. Instead of the usual online event, we are hosting a hybrid event for AWC 2025. This year’s launch will bring together Wikimedians, cultural advocates, institutions, and diaspora voices both in-person and online to set the tone for this year’s campaign.
