Africa Wiki Challenge Office Hours

The AWC Office Hours is a planned online event to be held Every Friday at 11am, GMT Time Zone on Zoom.

The event is to be held from Wednesday, 28th May, 2025 to Friday, 25th July, 2025

The First virtual Office Hours will be held on Wednesday, 28th May, 2025 to introduce the recurring event and as the first office Hours, to address the challenges of participants and to niche the topics for discussion throughout all office hours sessions.

Who is Eligible?

Participants, Organizers of this event, All Wikimedia Users and Anyone interested in this event or joining the Wikimedia Community are invited to attend our virtual office hours, held on Fridays throughout the Africa Wiki Challenge Period.

Session Topics

The Office Hours will address the following;

• Africa Wiki Challenge (AWC) Overview: Understanding the AWC initiative and its goals.
• Wikimedia Project Support: Addressing questions and providing support for all Wikimedia projects involved in the contest.
• Troubleshooting & Q&A: Answering participant questions and resolving challenges related to Wikimedia projects.
• Community Support: Providing ongoing support for Wikimedia community members and volunteers throughout the challenge and beyond.
