This year’s theme aligns with the African Union’s movement for justice and reparations and aims to amplify the voices of those impacted by historical and contemporary injustices.
The initiative seeks to enrich global understanding of reparations and elevate the voices of Africans and their descendants through the creation and enhancement of content on Wikipedia, focusing on the historical, social, and political realities that shape the reparations debate.
