Event:AfroCreatives WikiProject+film 2025 in Botswana

Context of the campaign

AfroCreatives WikiProject+film (ACWP+film) is an annual campaign to mobilize Africans on the continent and in the diaspora to enrich content about African film and television on Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects.

For this 2025 campaign in Botswana, the campaign will take place between August and September, will focus only on Wikipedia (Setswana,English) and aims to stimulate the enrichment of the content of African films and televisions in general and Setswana in particular, on Wikipedia and other Wikimedia projects.

Note

1. If a publisher writes an article and one or more editors then correct it during a campaign, each of their contributions must be mentioned accordingly.

2. If several publishers correct the same article during a campaign, each of their contributions must be mentioned accordingly.

3. A team of ACWP reviewers will evaluate the articles after the campaign.

4. Any warning template published in the article should be mentioned (e.g., best sources required; citations required; this article contains promotional content).

National competetion (Botswana context)

• From Mid August to October 31

• Closing ceremony and publication of competition results, along with presentation of gift certificates to winners: October 20, 2025.
