Inspiration
[edit]Wikipedia is the world’s largest free encyclopedia, created and maintained by volunteers from all over the world. Wikimedia Commons is its sister project for storing free-to-use images and media.
In Aruba and the wider Caribbean, many institutions and individuals are working to preserve and share cultural heritage. Contributing to Wikimedia Commons and Wikipedia ensures that this knowledge is globally accessible, in multiple languages. This workshop supports GLAM professionals and the wider community in beginning that process.
You can find instruction videos in Papiamento for inspiration on the Wikipedia on Aruba YouTube page.
