From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Ban Wiki - Online

[edit]

The Wikipedia on Aruba project hosts monthly virtual Ban Wiki-Online! where you can drop in to ask your questions about the project, meet other Wiki-minded people and start editing!

Online workshops will be held via Google Meet. The upcoming session runs from 6:30 PM to 20:00 PM (Atlantic Time). Members of the Wikipedia on Aruba coordinating team will guide you live, step by step, as we explore how the Wikimedia pllatforms works and how you can actively contribute.

If you want to edit during the workshop, please create a Wikipedia account beforehand (see this article in Papiamento or in Dutch for a manual).

This event is especially geared toward individuals and teams working at Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums (GLAMs), organizations who are involved in digitizing collections and making cultural knowledge more accessible to the public.

However, the workshop is also open to anyone who wants to use or learn how to edit Wikipedia, regardless of background or experience.

Participants can ask questions and engage in Papiamento, Dutch, or English.
