Celebrate 20 Years of Wikipedia of PAP-Wikipedia!
[edit]Join us for a special Ban Wiki edit-a-thon celebrating 20 years of Wikipedia in Papiamento/u. During this event, community members will come together to read, review, and improve existing articles on the Papiamento Wikipedia.
For people who are new, you will learn how to create a Wikipedia account, set up your own user page, and become part of the Papiamento Wikipedia community. We will guide you through the basics of how Wikipedia works and how you can start contributing.
Whether you are new or already curious about contributing, this is a great opportunity to help improve articles in Papiamento and support free knowledge for everyone.
Come meet other volunteers, learn new skills, and become part of the community behind PAP-Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome!
This Ban Wiki edition will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026', from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at the Biblioteca Nacional Aruba, Oranjestad
If you want to edit, bring a laptop or your phone! You can also use the computers available in the study room of the library. Everyone is welcome. No prior experience with Wikipedia is required, guidance will be provided throughout the session.
And there will be food & beverages :)!

| 18:50 – 19:00 | Closing & Next Steps | Final questions and invitation to continue contributing to the Papiamento Wikipedia community. |
